MAX/Envoy Battery Retrofit Kit Installation Instructions

This kit will retrofit the new battery to replace the legacy battery of Envoy lane machines and 2019-2024 built MAX machines. 

Installation Steps:

Remove old battery:

1. Remove battery retention clamps and screws. Save all hardware for reinstallation.
2. Unplug battery from enclosure.
3. Lift and remove battery.

Remove old battery tray:

1. Remove 4 retention screws at base of tray (in red below). Lift and remove tray from machine. Save hardware for reinstallation of new tray.

Remove old Speed Sensor Bracket:

1. Remove two retention screws and remove speed sensor from below battery tray.
2. Reinstall sensor into new bracket provided.
3. Mount new bracket with sensor in same location as previous sensor. This bent bracket will now clear the new deeper battery tray. 

Install new battery tray:

1. Place new battery tray into the machine and reinstall with original hardware.

Install new battery & original clamps

1. Place new battery onto battery tray with terminals oriented towards the inside of the machine. Plug the cable into the enclosure battery port.
2. Reinstall original battery clamps to secure battery.

You are now ready to operate your machine with the new battery installed.
